Customer Need
We were originally called out because the customer’s gas furnace would not shut off from the thermostat. After investigating the 40-year-old system, we found a lot of rust and recommended replacing the unit because of part availability and the overall condition. The system was installed in 1983 when the home was built. The customer decided to replace the gas furnace, and upgrade the air conditioner.

Proposed Solution
We recommended a full system changeout with a new high-efficiency home HVAC system. We noticed major leaks in the Return, so we sealed it from the inside and added a 1″ filter rack for easy filter changeout. The customer’s previous condensate drain would drain directly on their sidewalk, so we ran an extension into a rock well on the side of the house.
